2023 Creative Stirrings

Attendees to the 2022 Show and Sale were issued a creative challenge. Take any lid or cap, creative something using it, and bring it to the 2023 Show for display. Those who accepted the challenge were entered in The People’s Choice Award and won free entry to the Sale. In 2023 more than a dozen entries were received!

the aSTRAWnomy tower Using straws decorated with gold stars a scientific room of epic proportions was created. Look carefully, straws and stars are absolutely everywhere. As a bonus, even the title includes a straw pun!

2023 Creative Stirrings creations

British Beach HouseA bungalow built of brightly colored straws, a lounge chair, a wood floor, and even a drink umbrella, there are straws and other drink accessories everywhere.
Cabin Capers A cabin made of straws and furnished with chairs made from straws, this is a perfect "away in the woods" getaway.
Ferris Wheel FantasyNot only is the entire midway ride build from straws, but it lights up and goes round! A truly amazing feet of engineering from The People's Choice Award 2022 winner!
