Every summer CMS is a proud sponsor of the Creative Arts Miniature Competition at the Ohio State Fair. Designed with you in mind, the competition is open to everyone with categories showcase the breadth and depth of fine art of miniature making. Name Day

Held the first Saturday in October, every year, NAME Day is a national event that takes place regionally. All the different NAME clubs plan a special day to get together and make a one-of-kind project. Along with the national project, the CMS day typically includes door prizes, raffles, a silent auction, and an amazing potluck lunch. Not only does CMS spend the day making some our favorite things, but eating our favorite foods! This year NAME is opening up its' vault of prior projects and making them available once again. You may purchase as many as you like! You must order in advance so be sure to check out the projects here.

WinterFair

One of the premier fine art events in Columbus Ohio, CMS participates with an information table, make-and-take miniature projects, and miniature holiday items by local artists for sale. Visit www.winterfair.org for updated event information. Held the first weekend in December, at the Taft Coliseum, Ohio State Fair Grounds it's a three day event filled with unique jewelry, glass, paintings, photographs, ceramics and so much more.

In additional to special events, CMS meets the third Saturday of the month in Grove City, Ohio. 12:30-1:00 Arrival and Socializing (snacks are provided, bring your own beverage) 1:00-2:00 Club Business 2:00-3:00 Workshops and Seminars (depending on the project may run longer)
